Just got my kit, and I'm starting to install it.

I have a couple questions about pump orientation though. If I mount the pump with the inlet/outlet facing down I can keep them below the reservoir quite easily. Is it OK to run the pump mounted like this? Since the kit includes a check valve, does it matter that the pump is below the reservoir?
