Spark Plug Gap Questions
hello, ive got the stage I kit ordered (i might upgrade to the stage II, haven't decided for sure yet- maybe if the upgrade option goes on sale hint hint :D ), and i was wondering what plug gap is recommended. i saw on clubgp that you run a .035" gap, same as for a wet n2o kit, yet i see other people saying they are planning on dropping to only .050"
i know the gap depends on mods, but do you have any sort of guideline(s) for what gap is best for these kits? i currently run NGK TR6 plugs gapped at .052" will i want to re-gap before running the kit, or should i just run it, scan it, see what happens and adjust from there? heh, gee... i wonder what the answer will be :P
i cant remember if i made a sig on this forum yet, so ill put up my mods here: modular pulley (currently a 3.25 w/ KR), SLP headers and full 3" -> 2.5" exhaust, 4" fenderwell intake, DHP 1.0, 1.9:1 gen1 rockers w/ stock springs (i know, i know), lots of tranny work- 3.29 gears and all the goodies, AFC 2.0, LS1M scanner, MSD 8.8 super conductor wires, NGK TR6 plugs at .052", alcohol kit coming soon :D , MSP motor mounts (not installed yet), probably more that i cant think of at the moment
