Default Re: Progressive Install In a 2G Talon

I see the nozzle tapped after the GM MAF. That was going to be my first suggestion, so we're good there. I really don't know for sure, but I think your theory about the meth blowing back through the pipe when the BOV activates is correct because the valve is placed before the GM MAF. All that pressurized air has to go somewhere..

I see you run DSMlink. If you eventually end up purchasing another MAF, here is a way to test out the new GM MAF without blowing meth through it. Use NLTS. (No Lift To Shift) If you have not done the clutch mod, and activated NLTS, you have no idea what you're missing, it's sick!

Using NLTS will mean that inbetween shifts, you boost will not drop into vacuum, and your BOV will not activate. For reference, (all datalogged) I run a small turbo that DIES at redline, (16 psi) and when I'm shifting, the boost drops to about 9psi, then right back to 20 as then next gear engages. At the track, they're like "we can't hear your BOV??"

As far as fixing your current issue, I have no experience with the GM MAF. Having said that, the symptoms point to that being the issue. This advice sucks lol, but... some guys report their car running like garbage after they sucked up some water into the CAI and got the GM MAF wet, then they waited a while until everything was dry and it ran fine again.
