Well what you bought is intended to be hooked up to a boosted car. The switch needs pressure to activate. What i would recommend is getting a Full throttle switch, and hooking it up in place to the
pressure switch. This way the system only comes on under full throttle, they are very cheap. You could also hook up a normal switch you can get at any local elec store for around 1.00 and that would give you the ablity to turn it on or off.
