Not trying to take sales away from the boys here but your totally backwards in your thinking...
Diesel's want water/methanol to control EGT's & and as a plus a bump in HP. With the injection, we can run hotter tunes, advance our timing further, pour massive amounts of fuel in and not burn up pistons and turbo's...
Your first mistake is saying you dont have an EGT probe... this is ABSOLUTELY necessary to preserve turbo life & to tune your engine properly for water/meth. Obviously you dont want the water methanol for EGT control, so perhaps your at the wrong place.
The most bang for your buck is going to be Nitrous Oxide. The kits are slightly more expensive... but the HP your gonna pick up is allot bigger then water/methanol is going to net you. Go a bit further, purchase EFI live for your truck and really burn off the back tires.
I bet if you install an EGT probe on your truck your going to be surprised at how hot it can run with stock tuning and 45 PSI boost.
What type of turbo's are you running?
Its just my 2 cents, water/methanol is amazing for guys sled pulling, towing 18 000 pound trailers up mountain passes, running fuel tunes that with out it would turn pistons to butter... It is definately not the first (or 2nd) step in making your truck haul ass!
