Re: WI as a cleaner? I'll try changing the text to torquise, maybe you can read it (Hell, at least I can). (Hmm, tangerine seems to work well!) I'm on both the Sydney Biodiesel forum and the Surf forum, I use the same sign-in name. I run biodiesel, right now it is summer and I am blending in 33% vegetable oil with the biodiesel. This is a good injector system for alternative fuels. Before firing up the engine in the new truck, fix the temperature gauge, you will find a thread on how to do that on the forum. If the temperature is running high, then fix the viscous clutch for the fan, again on the forum. These engines can crack heads if you overheat them. After it is running (and not overheating), then fix the boost compensator, see forum. The stock cam is an off-road torque cam, the 3L (2.8 litre) cam is a general purpose truck cam, it drops right in. The Hilux runs a slightly shorter radiator than the Surf. I am using a 4-core radiator. The fan on the Surf is larger in diameter and has a larger opening on the fan shroud. I use a Surf shroud, a rebuild Surf viscous clutch and a larger Landcruiser fan with 8 blades off a 4.2 liter engine - no problems with overheating. My brother has ordered the WI system and is playing around with it on his Merc 300D. After he has used it for a couple of months he will send it on to me and I'll install it. I'm running 9 psi boost. I go off-road a fair bit, so I use a limited slip diff. The diff is a 4.56 and I use a 15" rim in the back with a slightly larger tire, speedo stays the same as with the stock 14" rim. Great truck, and parts are readily available anywhere in Oz (eat your heart out!)
