we carry M1 nozzles for are smallest size, but direct port is really not needed on most vehicles especially anything under 700hp hp. Newer engines are computer designed so their intake tacks mix the air very well to get it to the cylinders equally.
If you got a progressive system and the map sensor is of a GM scale the the controller will function just fine with that. |
Well i wouldnt consider the L series a "Newer engine" because it's been around for almost 40 years. Its a straight six design and has been known to run a little lean on 2 cylinders. I have seen many Meth kits with single nozzles on the L series motors and they all seem to do fine so maybe thats what i will do in the beginning just to get used to the kit.
On another note: My kit came in today and i need to order a few more parts for it. I already know i need the gmmap, nozzles (7 according to calculator), some line, tank, etc .... If i mount the tank in the trunk would you see any benefit to running a solenoid vs
check valve? If there is an advantage to either i would like to go ahead and install the better part for my application. I will post pics of my kit later!
