You can make it a nozzle act smaller by doing that but, usually will only work for closer range. Make a 6 act like a 5 etc.

Our older kits with the inside mount nozzles came with 3 nozzle. The new nozzles are more expensive so keep the kit price down we went to 2. Most of our compators kits come with 2 nozzles also.
