The nozzle size calculator is not 100% but it's pretty close on most applications. Things like a turbos efficiency above a certain limit are other factors to consider. Which would explain why you can run a bigger nozzle in many apps with no ill effect.
The solenoid is a option but we put it in the install directions anyways. The kit comes with a
check valve so it's only needed if you prefer a solenoid.
