Default Re: idea of running alky and nitrous a good thing?

I ran the same set up on my GTP it resulted in about a .3 second drop over my wet set up. But I had a 2.8 pully , 3000 stall, DIY shift kit, M10 nozzle, 12.01@117, rockers, TOG headers, 26 degrees timing , home ported blower, TB, custom dhp with happy nobb, 3" exhaust with cut out and not to much else in mods running pump gas. Oh yeah 100 shot of nitrous activated at 7psi. Still think I had the fastest non-cammed non intercooled, non turbo GTP there was for those mods. Haven't seen anyone beat it yet without a CAM and IC.

Was only able to make two passes before the tranny stated to slip badly but it hit like you got rear ended by a train.

So yes you can run that, I stopped using a wet set up because I use to mix my own race gas adding xylene. Which strips your rotors to a chrome like finish that's why I switched. I keep getting supercharger growl and sure enough rotors were stripped after only 3 months, went through 3 sets on the wet set up.
