Those symptoms don't sound like anything alcohol injection related at all, Do you have your old ECM to install back in the vehicle to check it? A small vac leak should not cause those issues. IF you plug the line and it's not using fluid then that would not be the cause of your misfires.

Also things like ignition coils, plug wires, large vacuum leak (if you have a boost gauge check how much vac your making) Plug gap, fueling issues to the cyl ect could all be areas to look at. Do you have these at high rpms as well?
