I have no pressure coming from the pump at all. It isn't even sucking any water in, but it turns on and sounds like its supposed to be pumping...

This is what I did:

Red wire from pump- positive on battery terminal
Black wire from pump- negative on battery terminal
Inlet line of pump- connected to red inlet hose - into a glass of water
Outlet line of pump- just left open with only the fitting on

Did I do something wrong here, or is there something wrong with the pump I received?

If my controller is bummed too, I'm going to be pissed.

EDIT:

Just tested the controller. Hooked up the red wire to power, black to ground, got power light to light up and 3 blinks (so 3 bar, correct?).

Then tried the green + grey wire connected, and got the pump light to turn on as well, so all 3 lights were lit up. So this is a good sign I'm guessing.

Now to figure out this pump issue... My car will be out of paint early next week, and I really need to have it ready before the end of May.
