Default Re: Testing Pump and controller?

The enginerungroup pump a DIY pump not a custom if it is the older one, they use coolingmist stuff and if it's not black it's the old pump which was not a custom pump and probably a 60psi or if your lucky 100psi pump and if it is was one of there older ones it was not 100% methanol compatible and the seals are probably toast on it.

We do have all the parts to rebuild the seals on the pump and replace them with the 100% methanol compatible ones and the 150psi pressure switch.

Here are the parts to rebuild the head of the pump, But unfortuatly even there new pumps still use a non 100% methanol compatible check valve seal so you can still have problems. I would probably opt for a new pump with a warranty. If you can find one local that will work to but it will cost about $150 to $175 for a 150psi pump.
