I don't recomend anyone run a 3.0 unless you have at least a downpipe. A local guy Chris who has my kit on his car has a 3.0 sees not lick of KR with a 4" intake, 103's, 180 state, dvldoc ported TB, DHP with adjustible timing, with a 3" downpipe and u-bend delete.
But if you really want to move all that air get some ported manis from Pector on clubgp. | Bilal... as far as mods go, this is what I have...

Autolite 104's gapped at .045
Accell 9000 wires

and of course the alcohol kit with the spacer.
The 3.2" and the 3.0" use the same size belt, so I suppose it would be easy to just test and see what I come up with using the 3.0. Maybe I can limit the use of the 3.0" to track days only or something. I dont have a scanner, but my aeroforcetech gauge can tell me everything a scanner can... just not all at the same time. 
What are the main things I want to look at with the 3.0? I assume 02's, IPW's, and KR?
I'm going to get a ported TB eventually (hopefully within a month, and I guess I should probably upgrade to the autolite 103's with the 3.2" pulley right? |
First you need to get some 103's
The main thing to look out for with the 3.0 would be 02's KR, IPW's should be around 18 or so if your tuned right.
Your going to have to up the pump psi
Other than that you should be golden.
