Re: Compression Ratio
Hey 64Falcon
If you are as you stated going to run a cam with alot of overlap then I might run up to11.5 to 1 even 12to1 with the 98 and even with the 93 and Devilsown system, you want all the compression you can get away with as this will make your engine more effciant in the combustion chamber. If i were since you in the land down under I would talk to Bruce Robertson, I hope I stated his last name corectly. Go to SmartCarby.com and e-mail him. He can put you in the right direction and you may wantr to look into his Carby. This is one very smart individual who has made his carby from scratch and it taken 8 or so years but he has out performed any carb on the market and all the problems that plaque carbs for performance and economy. His carby will out perform EFI when tunned corectly as he is getting total combustion and a flat fuel curve. He can help you with the compresion and cam choice and look into that carb of his.
He has rasied C/R on a 2stroke engine to stop detination.
Good Luck and Best Wishes
