Hi Guys, Looking into using a kit on my car. I just want to know possible places that i can install the nozzle that will give the best performance. I really dont have many choices as the engine bay is very cramped and things are hard to remove without major headaches to drill and tap. Thanks in advance. |

If this is your engine, It looks like you have plenty of spots on the two intake pipes to mount the nozzles, You can easily put the pump in your fender well on 99% of vehicles. No room for a tank that i can see so you will most likely tap your stock washer fluid tank or use a trunk mount set up. I would go right after that bung on the intake pipe right before the rubber boot on the left and then just after it on the right hand side. They really packed that thing in there |

that is the new RS6 engine bay V10TT mine is a V8TT, picture below. Ive also shown a picture of the engine with all the bolt-ons maybe there is somewhere else I can plumb the nozzle. Also do these nozzle calculations seem right? Engine 6800rpm 1.5 bar ~22psi 4.2Litres ~9.5-9.5:1 CR ================ Inputs ================ RPM 6800 Boost 22 Liters 4.2 ================ Injector ================ 14.09 gph of fluid flow needed @ 100 psi ================ Other Info ================ CFM 1070 BTU 2029 Thanks |

Yes that calculation looks dead on, Pretty much all v8 will get a M14 to M12 nozzle. Dual M7's is what your going to be using for that set up, I would mount the nozzles about 3 inches before the coupler on both pipes. This give you clearance of the AC line on the left and the fuse box on the right. Funny thing about some audi's the pump fits right in the space under your fuse box, At least on pretty much all A4's It drops right in place and you can put the cover back on it and it remains invisible. JUst check if yours is the same. Not sure if there is anyroom in that trunk under that square covered piece on the right but might be a good place as well. |

dvldoc - thanks, can you explain where i should but the M7 nozzles? I was thinking on the points i have marked in pink on the attached image. Also from what i have read I would like to run 100% methanol would this cause any problems? And can i have the pump mounted in the boot with the resovoir? Thanks. |

That location is fine, right after the intercooler is no problem, You pic is pretty tiny so it was hard to see the cutaway view. M7 is 7gph, since your flow needs to be 14gph you need two M7's one on each Intake. |
