I purchased a universal progressive kit a while back and I'm finally getting around to installing it. But before I start the install I want to make sure I have the right parts for a proper setup. The car is a 2002 Audi S4 2.7l twin turbo. I'm running 20 psi boost. I have the progressive 2 bar controller and dual 5m nozzles. Right off the bat, I think I have the wrong controller, should I be using the 3 bar? Also the calculator says I should be using an 8gph nozzle, so are the dual 5M too big? I'm planning to place the nozzles behind the intercoolers because I don't really want to drill holes into my up pipes. I'd also like to know where the best location for the check valve is, and best location for the pump if the the tank is remotely located in the trunk. thanks in advance |

You need to position the check valve just before the Y split for the 2 injectors. Also your right you do need the 3bar map sensor, the dual 5gph jets might be a little big best just to try, the fact that your placing the jets behind the intercoolers mean they might be ok.

Thanks for the reply. I read that the controller can reset to 2bar or 3bar, so I think I'll just try the 5m nozzles and see how they work out. sounds like I have everything I need for the setup, I plan to do the install this weekend, time permiting. thanks again.

What power are you hoping for and what other mods have you done?

There is now a 2.5 bar controller available which is a perfect match for the B5 S4's map sensor. Back before it was available DO was recommending the 2 bar controller. Also, with the tiny stock sidemounts I would run at least dual 3 gph. Try dual 5 gph if you have K04's and are really pushing it.
