| Water Injection Year: 2008 Make: Seat Model: Leon Cupra | Here is a pic of where i mounted the pump on the audi TT - 165kw. We know that there is no place under the bonnet so I used the front bumper brace as a mounting point - see pic [img=http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/210/dscf1710sg9.th.jpg] |

| Alcohol Water Injection Year: 2004 Make: Audi Model: TT225 | Here's pics of my install. 2004 Audi TT 225. The kit is a Universal Stage 2. I mounted the pump under the airbox, but had to cut out a portion of the bottom of the box. The pump makes minimal contact with the panel filter. Using a cone filter is an alternative. (NOTE: Be sure to trim the screws on the inside of the wheel well so there is no contact with the tire!) I ran the water feed line dirctly through the top of the washer tank using a 1/4" hole. (You need to remove the wheel well liner to access the tank.) I ran the black hose to the bottom of the tank. This was easier than mounting using the adapter that came with the kit. I used a throttle body flange to mount the nozzle after the throttle body. The flange is available from Apex Tuning or USRT. I mounted the controller in the little storage cubby under the ash tray. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the back of the tray to run the wires through the firewall. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Water Injection Year: 2008 Make: Seat Model: Leon Cupra | Looks great... Are u not worried about hot air being sucked in from engine comparment ? I used the fitting and tapped a hole at the bottom of the water bottle. I used the old style jet and put it on the plastic pipe just before the throttle body. Somehow i manage to loose the rest of the pix |

| Alcohol Water Injection Year: 2004 Make: Audi Model: TT225 | You mean the two knobs with arrows on them, mounted to the battery shroud? Manual boost controller from ModShack. ![]()

| Alcohol Water Injection Year: 2004 Make: Audi Model: TT225 | Not at all. The same outside air feed directs air to the airbox area. I think the air in the engine compartment will only be a problem if I'm sitting still.

| Alcohol Water Injection Year: 2004 Make: Audi Model: TT225 | I've had a couple of times when really small stuff that may be in the bottom of my washer tank gets sucked up and passed through the pump. Then it gets caught in the check valve, causing vacuum leak symptoms. Here is my solution. It's a Purolator fuel filter (part no. F20011) installed on the intake side of the pump. The 1/4" lines fit snuggly inside the barbs of the filter. It will also act to catch any air in the line, though I haven't had any problem like that. ![]()

| JettaRed..what are you doing over here? ![]() Thats a good place to mount the pump but my intercooler occupies all that space. I think I am going to follow red's suggestion and mount my pump where he has his. I don't have an airbox any ways. That thing has been long gone. Now if I can only find out if this 4 nozzle is going to be too big. Man the Boost Machine is a giant! Why did Steve have to make it sooo large? My boost controller is teeny in comparison. |
