Thats a good place to mount the pump but my intercooler occupies all that space. I think I am going to follow red's suggestion and mount my pump where he has his. I don't have an airbox any ways. That thing has been long gone.

Now if I can only find out if this 4 nozzle is going to be too big. Man the Boost Machine is a giant! Why did Steve have to make it sooo large? My boost controller is teeny in comparison.

If your using the controller you can reduce the output of the pump, If not you can either pull fuel. Or go with the DO3.

I'm using a TurboXs HPBC on my other car. It's pretty good, but the boost machine works better for me. It's much esier to adjust and get tuned in.

Here's an update. I finally took some logs. Basically, there total timing pull on any cylinder at anytime was 5.3 degrees! (and that was at 6200 rpm and 14 psi on cylinder 3). The graph may not be the best representation, but it's about 11 seconds and from 2500 rpm to 6000 rpm a couple of times. Anyone who wants the file, I'll be happy to send it so you. Just let me know.

The configuration is:

GIAC-X
Forge 007P DV
BoostMachine Max Boost: 20 psi
Timing (via Unisettings): +3 degrees
Nozzle: 3 gph at throttle body
W/M onset: 5 psi
W/M full: 15 psi

Here I bumped timing to 3.75 degrees and used the 4 gph nozzle. Not bad. And, you can really feel the car pull, but it's smooth. When I pull from the light I don't think it's a lot until I see tiny specks in my mirror and realize they're cars that were next to me. :P

OK, here's my 2500-6500 rpm run in 3rd gear. I lowered my water settings to come on @ 5 psi and run full @ 10 psi. I still have timing advanced 3.75 degrees and am running a 4 gph nozzle. I got 3 degrees pull in cylinder 4 near readline. Otherwise, 0 degrees pull.

Thanks. I do go through quite a bit windshield washer fluid, but no bogging or misfires. The local Safeway has ww fluid on sale for 82 cents a gallon, so I stocked up. The checkout guy must think I'm crazy, but that's less than 1/2 price nowadays. I always have a full gallon in the car.

Does the TT come with the 5.5L tank? I thought I remember reading somewhere that there was a 5.2 or 5.5 liter tank for the TT.

Good question. I don't really know. I judge how much I use by how much I have to add at the end of the day. I ususally top off the ww tank when I get home after work.
