Hi, I have a Volvo 850 T5 loads of modifications, too many to list. but basically my turbo is running 20 PSI, the car has a turbo charged, fuel injected 2.3ltr 5 cylinder 20V twin cam engine. Max revs are 6750. What size nozzle should best suit my car? I run 99ron (uk spec) high grade fuel.
And.....can I run 2 nozzles? one to the intake pipe & 1 just before the throttle body? Cool it before compression & cool it after? Is it possible from 1 pump?
You require 4.83 Gallons per hour flow for that boost. The nozzles are stated in Gallons per hour at 100psi. The pump makes signifactly more than that.
The D03 will give you at 4.24 gph at 200psi the D04 will be at 5.66gph @ 200psi which is what the pump is set from us.
A dual nozzle set up would require 1 DO2 and 1 DO1 nozzles which would give you 4.23 GPH at 200psi so just turn the pump up to 250 or use 2 D02 nozzles and turn it down to 150psi.
If your going to do a dual nozzle system do pre-turbo you will see greater gains and pick up a few pounds of free boost. D01 pre-turbo to cool the compressor (does not count towards overall flow) and a DO3 at the intake.

As the Doc says a DO3 will work perfectly and a DO1 for pre turbo will see some nice gains.
