Which kit and what injector??

Helooo

Thinking off buying a kit for my 306 but have a few questions.

From the calculator,
================
Inputs
================
RPM 5000
Boost 25
Liters 1.9

================
Injector
================
3.4 gph of fluid flow needed @ 100 psi

================
Other Info
================
CFM 385
BTU 489

first off the car is a
1.9DT 306,
rev limiter is 5000,
Front mount intercooler,
Newman Cam,
25psi boost.

1. what nozle/injector do i use??
2. does pumping water through the engine / intercooler pipes make them rust from inside out??
3. what kit would i need for boost conntrolled application.
4. do the kits come with the tanks, if not is there a kit with the fittings and pipe to go from the pump to the tank.
5, can i have a quote for everything needed inc tank and level switch, in £GBP, and can you deliver too UK???

finally, wheres best too place the nozle???

a pic off the engine bay.

Thanks for your help

Re: Which kit and what injector??

For your engine I would run a D04 and request your second nozzle to be a D05 4cly turbo diesels tend to run more than calculated. Most 1.9T VW's run a DO4 nozzle and that is in close to stock form. Modified ones tend to run 5gph nozzles

No your intercooler pipes will not rust, not to mention you will mount the nozzle just before your intake unless you plan to run a second pre-turbo nozzle and then it is still not a issue.

Both kits are for boost controlled applications, The Stage 1 kit comes with a pressure switch. You will want a universal kit or use the VW kit with a 6-30psi pressure switch, The Stage 2 kit is more but has more control with the Progressive Controller. Most of the map sensors there are 2.5 bar so you would also use the VW kit for that as well.

Nozzle sizes you want are D04 and D05. You can go to the online store and add up all the items you need to get the price or simply contact our dealer that is located there for a kit already in stock.

Re: Which kit and what injector??

Every car is different so we cannot give a blanket hp increase claim. But on average the 4cly turbo diesel respond better than anything else to the kits.

You can find plenty of dyno's in the diesel section to look at done on bone stock vehicles to chipped ones.

But expect around a 15% to 20% increase in over all power.

Doing the pre-turbo injection will give you a bit more boost and more power, it basically makes your small turbo act like a larger more efficient on. You would use the D01 nozzle. Pretty much everyone that has done this has notice a nice improvement over just a intake mounted nozzle on the turbo diesels. Anything to keep EGT's down makes power.

Re: Which kit and what injector??

Personally i wouldn't bother with the head, a Cam is all thats worth puting in.

I'd go with a D01 pre turbo and a DO2 or DO3 post intercooler.

Your best to mount the post intercooler jet about 8 inches away from the inlet plenum.

This is the spec of my old 306 DT;

Engine: 1905cc, 4 cylinder, 8 valve turbo diesel, Garrett T-25 hybrid turbo, Pace charge cooler, Mocal 19 row oil cooler, Mocal oil catch tank, Pipercross viper kit, Pipercross engine breather filter, EGR valve removed, Piper high-lift cam, Gas flowed head + inlet manifold, Turbo + induction heat shields, Modified fuel pump internals, adjusted rev limit [4200-5250], increased idle [to spin turbo up quicker], in car boost adjuster [15psi-max 34psi], T.A.S Piston type dump valve, Devilsown water + methanol injection, [Wizard of N.O.S] nitrous oxide injection, Custom tublar manifold & straight through 3.5inch bore with single rear box exhaust with 6.5x4 inch oval tail pipe, Peugeot sport bottom engine mount, Top Engine mounts spaced out[8-10mm], The phirm strut brace & fuse box, Spec-r P.A.S tank & battery cover with battery re-located into boot.

I keep the kits in stock all the time so just PM me when your ready to order one.

Re: Which kit and what injector??

yea thats the aim, where did you have your exhaust done?? and how much was it inc manifold if you dont mind me asking :P lol

need to do the head really,

im gunna port and polish, new valves and seals, newman fast road cam, uprated hiflow injectors and a metal headgaskit,.

Rest of it is gunna be, relocated hybrid T25, oil cooler, 3" straight through no back box, lightened fly, uprated clutch, might build a 6speed diesel gear box.

ive allready moved the battery, ready for the turbo.

Re: Which kit and what injector??

The manifold was made by a company called 'the phirm' in Farnham/Guildford.

She was making 184bhp & 374ft/lbs and still using the std clutch, flywheel, injectors (reconditioned) and gearbox.

Re: Which kit and what injector??

With NOS.

With a bit more work and tweaking i def could of broke the 200bhp barrier and 400ft/lbs.
