I own a 2005 crossfire srt6 with a aftermarket supercharger pulley running 17psi, custom tune and CAI. Can I drill a hole in my CAI and install the nozzle there or would I need to drill/tap my upper intake manifolds with the stock supercharger? The car comes stock with a AMG Mercedes engine with forged internals and a helical twin-rotor supercharger supplied by IHI. Last edited by mrphotoman; 07-01-2008 at 02:42 PM.

I would go with the Stage 2 progressive kit, I pretty sure your stock system has a 2.5 bar map sensor on it since stock boost is over 16psi. A DO5 and DO7 would be the nozzle sizes you would want in your kit. You can tap your cold air intake pipe, If you wanted to get radical you could tap the intake manifold. ![]()

Older superchargers used a epoxy type coating which was stopped quite some time back like 10 years. Newer supercharges use a teflon coating. ![]() Teflon is methanol compatable. http://www.catpumps.com/pdfs/Brochures/ChemComp.pdf Most people who have stripped the coating have at one point used a throttle body cleaner or wet nitrous system. Both are sure ways to peal of the epoxy style coatings, But even teflon is compatible even with xylene.

That is great news then. The pulley I am running adds just under 4psi, do you feel it would be safe to run meth and add timing on this car? Would a 50/50 mix work best or 100% meth?

There is no black and white with any vehicle, Start with 50/50 and tune from there. But you can easily at 2 to 3 degrees of timing on 50/50. I was wrong about your factory boost, It's 14.5 stock your vehicle has the same MAP sensor as the SRT-4 which is 2 bar.
