nutron any chance you could post up your inlet air temps as im not sure my temps are right,13-17*c seem too close to ambient temps at the time.i was expecting arround 30-50*c.basically your engine is the same as mine and intercooler is same size and in same position.

I can when I get the tech2 data but that will almost certainly be in two months now, when I get back from Brunnei.

Re: 1.9 CDTI too much water?

Well I ran the 1gph nozzel pre-turbo and found that the turbo spun up no faster than with no injection what so ever. That suggests to me that it is actually slowing the spin up as it should spin up faster with injection regardless of whether it is pre or post. With the injectors before the inlet manifold. This is based on boost pressure graphs, and multiple power runs. So I have gone back to the injector before the inlet manifold but may use the pre-turbo nozzel from time to time, just to clean the compressor blades.

I'm still waiting on Tech2 data though to determin what ratios of methanol to use.

i would not expect turbo rpm to increase with WI. if anything it should go slightly lower. its just like comparing it on a hot day to a cold night.

If your engine temps were going high with the FMIC try a lower temp thermostat and get yourself an oil cooler, my 306 suffered badly until i fitted a nice big 19 row oil cooler.

A FMIC will give a lot cooler charge temps and give a much better burn.

Cool air more air. You are increasing effeciency, which means that you will flow more air at the same pressure. On the too much front. I am running an M2 with 87%water 13%meth on a 660cc engine at 12 psi, if you need some other small engine/nozzle numbers
