another surf to get done in Australia

Hi,
i have a 2LTE Surf
Which is the same motor as Terry Syd but is the EFI version with electronic fuel injection.
Just before i place my order i would like to confirm what would be best for me to start with
For now i want to just run with a basic one nozzle set-up and use tap water.
Later on i will get into alcohol mixes etc
I understand this is a on/off system using a psi switch.
I plan to use one "M2" nozzle after the turbo to come on at 6 or 7psi.
(i max at 12psi)

By ordering the universal diesel stage one kit do i need any extra stuff.
Elbows,connectors,check valves etc???
Im in Australia and its not like i can just go pick something up i have forgotten to order if you know what i mean.

Am i on the right path here?

many thanks

The kit comes with everything you need. You might want to order some extra hose if you want to mount a tank in the rear of the vehicle.

If you plan to mount in a soft pipe you might want consider our adaptor for it.

Re: another surf to get done in Australia

ok.,
ive decided to go with a D01 nozzle pre-turbo and a D02 nozzle post turbo
i will use the basic kit operated with the 2-10psi switch.
i feel this will give me the best starting point with room to move down the track if need be.

last questions for the guru,

i can order the stage one diesel turbo kit and specify D01 and D02 nozzles?
i will also have to order what to accomodate the second nozzle (eg Y-elbow,check valve, adpter etc)?

thanks

i think that if this system works well on the 2lte you may find a lot of Surf owners in Australia seeking more information.
Especially if economy is improved.
Its the basic fear of injecting water into a diesel engine that is the hard step to overcome...especially when off-roaders (like me) spend big bucks on trying to keep it out...but the more i research it the more it makes sense in these proportions and methods of getting it in there.

hi parra.

i can't remember if you fitted an intercooler to yours.
if not, then you could go higher pre turbo, hopefully that will give a good boost increase as well as run cooler. considering how well they go when those crappy CT20 turbo's are high flowed, i think the surf will go really well with pre turbo injection.

look forward to the results

Yes you can request those nozzle sizes plus you still have a 3rd nozzle for that kit so I would get a 3gph as well. It already comes with the dual nozzle set up so you don't need anything else.
