| Alcohol Holic Year: 1999 Make: Daihatsu Model: Move | So I have been seriously considering getting a friends Hilux Surf (4runner with 3.0L 1KZ-TE) when she leaves. Always wanted a diesel, and something bigger than what I have. It’s a 93 or so, and I am sure that is has a lot of soot build-up from 15 years of driving. My question is this. Will the methanol/ethanol/water break stuff up and cause problems in the combustion chamber? |

| Alcohol Holic Year: 1999 Make: Daihatsu Model: Move | Since I have another question, I decided to post it here. I am wondering about how a diesel takes care of changed the A/F when WI in started. Do diesels have o2 sensors? I know it’s stupid, but I am not really sure how a diesel manages it’s fuel air delivery without a throttle plate. |

| DevilsOwn Tech Year: 86 Make: Buick Model: T Type | they use a map or maf sensor, and can tell how much air the engine is moving, or some type of boost reference diaphram on the injector pump.. alot of the older turbo diesel didn't even have computers or sensors..
