Ok dvldoc or rocket 468, I would like to purchase a kit for my Dodge diesel pick up. I don't know what kind of horsepower it is getting but it has a cold air intake, 4" exaust and a bully dog chip which is good for an additional 230 horsepower and 450 pound feet of tourque. I drive the truck every day and every other week I will be running it at my local drag strip. Can you advise me on nozzle size etc.? I am excited to get one as you're kits are much less expensive than other ones I have found. Thanks.

If your going to add the bully dog that basically raises boost and increases timing and fuel. With a single M14 nozzle and a 40/60 mix most TD's see around 70hp increase and up 20 200 lbs of tq. Not to mention the 250 degree EGT drop. I would definetly add the dual nozzle upgrade with a additional M12 or M10 nozzle if your going to run the programmer. Remember more boost, more alcohol, more power. The progressive kit will allow you to turn the system on much earlier and get more HP down low without bogging the motor. We have people with running a turn on point of 2 to 4psi with no bogging since our unit is so smooth and the PWM frequency so high. If your just using this for track use the Boost activated kit will work just as well. | |
