Less power with water/meth switched on!!!

Hi guys, some of the guys on the rover forum i frequent had a bit of a dyno off yesterday, onwe guy has new injectors,intercooler etc(flash bast`) dont laugh-he made less power on water/meth than withouth. what could be be wrong?

Did he adjust the amount he was spraying for all the other mods he made? All those mods make your vehicle require less W/I, Also did he up the boost, he should have been able to push it at least 8 to 10psi more with the additional mods with the W/I.

If you don't make more power with at TD and alcohol injection your doing something wrong period.

I was gonna say the same thing. All the mods are to decrease problems with more boost. Adding WI, which also decreases problems with more boost, and not upping boost will slow the car down.

Lots of possable issures, over fueling etc is the most common problem get us a dyno graph with a wide band and we can narrow down the problem.

its just like any add on.. you have to tune for it.. might be using too much water and not enough alcohol
