hi everybody,
my question too you all is. When im driving my nissan terrano td 27 during daylight, then it doesn't want t00 drive proppely(it seems too be choking), sometimes it even dies. During the night it doesn't give me any problems. Some say there's something wrong with my feultank, then others say it's my gearbox. Im really tired of this problem, so that's why i seek ur help now.

no its not water related. it has to do something with my feul(gas). they say there is a filter in the tank that has to be cleaned, but i doubt it.

or a terrano forum.

on some of the nissans there is a filter under the inlet into the injection pump. not sure if they have it. otherwise i doubt it fuel related. most likly control systems. need to know if you have the mechanical inujection pump or the ECU controlled pump.

anyway pop into on of the nissan forums and give all your details on the problem (and vechile) and they should be able to help

hi, its a mechanical injection pump. ive already had the pump checked. it was never defected. when its the most hot during the day,then its useless to drive my terrano,cuz it will not shift properly.it gets stuck on the second gear.but when its night or rainy days, then there's no problem. if someone would drive it during night, then he would never notice a problem with the car

at a guess you have auto gearbox and its electronically controlled. most likely you have either a temp sensor or TPS sensor going faulty. this causes gearbox to go into limp home mode and will stay in 2nd gear.

the other thing is to block off any EGR system.

I never heard of such a case. You should take your Nissan Navara to a proffesional.
