I just wanted to say thanks to the Devils Own staff. I ordered my kit on Friday and it arrived on Tuesday. I just finished putting it in my truck and I have to say I was amazed how easy it was. Instructions were written well and the quality of the components is fantastic. One gets the feeling that the kit will last for a very long time. The kit delivers on all promises as far as EGT's. At full throttle I would get to around 1400 degrees before the chip would defuel. Now, it barely gets above 1150 degrees and dosen't defuel because of the cooling effect. I don't know about the horsepower but the truck does feel stronger. When word gets out about you're product you will put a real hurting on the other much more higher priced companies. I know I will put you're stickers on with pride. Look for me at Bully Dog Days this summer as well as at my local track during Diesel Only days which is usually covered by Disel Power Magazine. Thank you again, I am sure I will get a couple of more kits in the future for my other projects! Cliff Holladay, Utah |

Glade you are happy with it. If you could get us some pics of your install it would help us. We are still pretty unknown in the diesel crowed. It would help us get our foot in the door. Also can you tell me which wire you taped into your map sensor? I know it's 4 wires and it's on to top of the motor past the horn. I would like to find the male and female connectors so we can make it more plug and play. |

I would be more than happy to send you some pictures of how I did mine. Since I had two nozzles I decided to put them in the metal tube right before the actual intake manifold. I figured if I sold the truck or had major issues it woud be a lot cheaper to plug or buy that tube rather than the maifold itself. As for the wire, to be honest since the bullydog chip I run taps into the MAP sensor with it's own harness I am not sure of which color the stock wire would be. On the bullydog harness it is white. I determined this with my old multi meter. I really wasn't 100% sure this was the correct wire but the voltage seemed to be close and the kit works so I guess I guessed right. You are correct, the sensor is on top of the motor and on the drivers side. 4 wires. When I get to taking pictures I will try to get some of that harness. I had been researching water/alcohol injection for some time but the kits I found online were literally twice as much. Closer to three times as much if you got all of the options some other places offer. I really think that if the word got out with your kit it would sell like crazy to the Diesel guys. I had to look hard for your company. Diesel guys will buy it in droves. I would have no problem helping you get the word out. Maybe at some point some sort of sponsorship on your part could come into play. I just know that I could not be happier with your kit. I cannot believe the temp difference. Even all of my diesel buddies have a hard time believing it, but it is true. Thanks again and I will get you those pics as soon as possible!!!!!! |
