Friends,
at once I am sorry, if these questions were already discussed at a forum and on them there are answers.
I am novice user alcohol-injection.

I have Peugeot 308 150 THP with the same engine as Mini R56 Cooper S (1,6 turbo). I have bought 1,8 bar Stage 1 WIK.

Here is an information which I have received from nozzle calculator:
Max RPM - 6500
Max boost - 24
Engine liters - 1,6
Nozzle - 3,4 gph
CFM - 411
BTU - 490
I have bought the WIK with two nozzles: DO 3 and DO 7.

Please, make recommendations:

1. I think that I need to use the DO 3 nozzle?
2. You would recommend what parameter of pressure of turning on of the pump for a choice on the switch?

Thanks you.

Feel free to move this to the other controller issues thread(s).

I have the Stage 2 DVC-30 kit that I just installed this weekend. Everything seems to be running fine except a few minor things.

1) the Full light never comes on. I've tried setting it low and high but can never get it to hit. I'm currently set at 17psi for the Full but even at 15psi it never came on. I tend to run 20-22psi then taper down to 18psi or so.

2) I have the start set to 7-8 however I notice the start light comes on constant around 5psi. If I bump the start up to 10psi then it wont come on until almost peak boost if at all.

3) Due to the pump starting around 5psi I feel as if I'm burning up a lot of mix. I originally had it set to 5 start 15 full, then down to 2 start 12 full, and back up to 6 start 12 full. I took the car on the highway for a few exits and back on my first run after the install and used 1/8-1/4 a gallon bottle, which I chalked up to starting at 2. However even bumping it up to 5-6 (when it's currently kicking on now) I used about 1/8-1/4 bottle on a 25 mile highway drive. Is this usage normal? Seems like I'd need 3-5 gallons of mix for a long road trip.

I installed this on a 2008 VW GTI 2.0T FSI with APR Stage 2+ 240whp. Using a DO3 nozzle.

I'm getting no pre det, no rough idle, no misfires, no CEL's. I let the car sit for about 10 min at idle to make sure i wasn't just sucking mix past the <span style="color: #AB0000; font-weight: bold; font-style: oblique; text-decoration: none;"><a href="http://www.alcohol-injection.com/water-injection-parts-3/brass-check-valves-64.html">check valve</a></span> in case that was bad. Seems to be working.

Oh and I did notice the controller is in 3BAR, if that helps anything.

Thank you in advance. Very happy with this kit!

pic of the controller just in case

I have the standard kit (boost sensor one)
anyhow I removed it from my old supercharged car
and have none fitted to my Veg oil NON turbo mercedes w124 300td (3lt 6 pot)

I doubt I will get any extra power and do not really care.

I want to clean out the cylinders. I use 100% old veg oil and it's gumming up the engine insides.

Anyone run veg oil or diesel with the devils own injection on a non turbo?

Would love to see some pics of the engine insides if they do get cleaned.

Many thanks

i've got a 2001 chevy camaro 3.8l v6, custom turbobuild with FFH's.the turbo is .63 exhaust a/r
.60 a/r compressor off a grand national.
it's intercooled.
compression ratio is i think 9.5-1
completely untouched motor.
hptuners/wideband
i'm not running much timing a max of 10 degrees in full boost. and i get between 1 and 5 degrees of KR the majority of the time, when racing. i haven't been able to tell if it was legit or false knock.

a few months back i installed an electric cut out at the bottom of the 3" downpipe, because the exhaust goes into 2.5" under the front "k member"
i haven't been able to see if that made a difference because, after installing that, i started tearing my car down to paint.

the only time i've really gotten 0 KR was the 2 times i was driving it in the rain... i really beat the piss out of it, tires were spinning the majority of the time. at the time, i was thinking it was because with the tires spinning smoothly, (no wheel hop or anything) there wasn't as much of a load and perhaps thats why there was no knock. but recently i remember hearing that your motor ingest just as much water during driving in the rain as with most meth kits.... SO, i'm still going to check KR with the cutout open, and get some race gas. but from the information i've given as far as no KR when spinning in the rain. does it sound like legitimate KR? with such low timing i don't want to believe it. I've been wanting to run water meth anyway. but i want to know whats actually going on before throwing on parts.

Hi Guys

I drive a 2009 Mazdaspeed 3. Currently boosting max around 16PSI.

On recommendation of the nozzle calculator, I used 1 x DO2 Nozzle pre throttle body. Currently only injecting water as Im waiting for my meth to arrive.

Our local DO distributor recommended that I run a DO4 nozzle for best results.

Could you guys please advise if the DO2 is not enough and that I should replace it with a higher flowing Nozzle?
