I ordered the Diesel Universal Stage 1 kit. The kit comes with two nozzle holders, a 'Y' connector and an inline check valve. All you have to add is the extra check valve that attaches to the nozzle holder on the pre-turbo line. You would have to specify the 2-10 lb pressure switch and the nozzles you want to run, otherwise it comes with the 6-30 lb switch and bigger nozzles. |

It didn't take you long to post a kit. I notice it has the same price as the Diesel Universal kit. I take it then that it isn't a dual check valve system. The caption also says that it uses a 6-30 psi switch, is that correct?

No single inline check valve. I fixed the pressure switch error.

mine is a 4 cyl turbo diesel kit and it is cheaper than the diesel universal stage 1 kit. probably the reason why it comes with a single nozzle holder and no "Y"connector. based from the 3 installations here, the 2~10 psi pressure switch is more applicable. since, i did not bother to check my boost pressure prior to order, i got the 6~30 psi switch. luckily, through the help of dvldoc, i was able to get one in Manila, a Hobbs switch with 4 psi nominal rating. i just used the MPV and consumed 6 liters of water for a 100km city/hiway travel. a bit of a hassle if you have to refill every 50 km. at least now, i know when to switch off the WA injection. BTW i installed a 3liter capacity washer tank. i increased the pressure cut in to delay the activation a bit. |

I have a 15 litre tank in the bed of my truck and I expect that I am going to have to refill it every 1.5 hours of my cross country travel time. That's OK as I normally stop every 1.5 hours to have a rest. If you go to an additional M1 pre-turbo, your water consumption is going to increase another 50%. You might want to look at running the M1/M1 combination. It will perform better than the system you are presently running and will use the same amount of water your using now. |

TS, thanks for the suggestions ![]() You're right, i need to change my set up to M1/M1 combination. this would extend the cooling effect up to the pre-turbo track with the same amount of water consumption as my present set up. i hope it would be possible to exchange my extra M2 & M3 to 2 - M1. paging dvldoc |

changed my mechanical type boost gauge into this ![]() close up ![]() it's an electronic pressure switch ( 0~14.5 psi ) with a 19 segment LED analog pressure display. now, adjustment of activation point is more accessible. |
