finally, just finished installing the DO1 nozzles pre/post turbo. i have noticed that the intake pipe is colder to the touch when compared to the old set up of single post turbo DO2 nozzle. took some pictures of the turbo for comparison of "before and after" wear on turbo impeller in a few months. will post pictures of the install later. meanwhile here are pics of the turbo ![]() close up ![]() |

Hopefully people will notice that the leading edges has slight wear on them and that it is from normal use. This is what we typically see on turbos. Dang those turbos are small, You can see why you get such a gain with the system. |

here are the pics of the new set up. pre/post turbo ![]() post turbo ![]() pre turbo nozzle ![]() 20 liter water tank -no more frequent refills ![]() i forgot to order some push-on fittings, so i used readily available local brass fittings. can't find nickle plated fittings here but i guess this would suffice since i'll only be using 100% water. cheers |

Just a heads up to those using DO1 nozzle. I have noticed lately that my ride became sluggish and my water consumption lesser. Also noticed black smoke on high revs. Took out the DO1 nozzzle post turbo and found out that no water comes out of it. Tried cleaning and tested and it won't mist! water is just dripping from the nozzle. Same thing happened on the DO1 nozzle pre turbo. water just dripping when pump is activated. About the DO1 nozzle, is there something i missed? The filter is not dirty. the brass insert inside the nozzle has some gunk (probably oil from the EGR) on the slits. The hole on the nozzle is not blocked/plugged as i can see light passed thru it. BTW, I'm using straight purified water. I tried my old DO2 nozzle and it worked just fine. So, I revert back to DO2 post turbo set up. i'll try to post pics of the nozzle and its parts although i have cleaned it already. |

Did you check for any kinks in the system or try running the pump with hose before the T union split to make sure you have no flow problems. I would inspect the check valve as well to check for any clogs in it. The check valve be disassembled and inspected.

I had a problem with my inline check valve. It would stay closed and not flow, it did it twice to me. The inline check valve I have has a different internal construction than the check valve attached to my pre-turbo nozzle. That style of check valve hasn't given me any trouble.
