Re: 1999 Daihatsu Move Aero Down Custom XXX Progressive Install

Got the M2 installed. The engine feels stronger, and since it is getting warmer, max boost has dropped down to 12 from 13-14 when it was cold. I have a ball spring boost controller I am thinking about installing, now that I have the ability to run the pre and post turbo nozzles. I will try to find out the best way to get in installed. No problems with the M2, and the cars feels even faster. May drop back to an M1 if I go preturbo also. Just need to get a T for the hose. Turned the full power down to about 8 psi on the controller, so I am now at 2-8 on the controller, which is 3-12 on the boost gauge.

No, it's not OBDII, and the IAT is in the air box. THe car is faster, and the pipes are a little cooler. Still trying to work out the mix I need.

The message at the top said I needed to post. What mix should I be running?

50/50 is good for those vehicles, You need the cooling a bit more than the fuel.

Re: 1999 Daihatsu Move Aero Down Custom XXX Progressive Install

Just an update. The preturbo seems to be getting gravity fed by the hose after the check valve, so I adjusted the controller way down so I won't get full power until 20 psi, and put an M2 at the post IC position. IF this doesn't keep my car from dying I will probably pull the pre-turbo.

Installed a SS clippard mouse valve (PWM solenoid). No more stumble on boost ->brake. Have a .5 preturbo and an M2 post turbo using 45% alcohol(meth, eth, and ISO all mixed together, brother brought some walmart 91% ISO for me last week)

I look forward to doing this on a Wagon R, Think I'll pick one up next time I go back to the Philippines.

Re: 1999 Daihatsu Move Aero Down Custom XXX Progressive Install

Switched the controller over to 3 bar. Now have much broader range to get everything tuned in. Wanted to be able to drop spray to 1 psi, and raise the maximum really high to try out how much flow I really need. Waiting on a Y union in the mail. Been going through a lot of juice, seems that quite a bit is cooling my steering rack right now.
