A while ago I'd seen a VRT buddy of mine in the FI forums pick up a Snow Performance kit and gain 48whp just with the kit; his IATs were down a good 60* and his timing retard had been reduced to 0. I decided this would be my next upgrade since the price to horsepower gained is pretty darn good and Heet (winter windshield washer fluid) and distilled water are very cheap. Plus, don't forget about those 100*+ summers :o But I digress, here's a few pics of the install What the kit includes...I think one of the quick fit connectors fell out in shipping so I had to hit up Lowes for the pressure switch line quick fit connector. Removed the bumper to get at the charge pipe just before the throttle body. A Kinetic Stg 1 guy placed his line directly in the rubber boot and used GOOP to seal it but I decided it'd be best to just secure it in the hard piping. When I swap nozzles this weekend I'll coat the entire inside in paint to help prevent rust, hopefully. ![]() Nozzle Mounting. The nozzle screws in from the inside into the 90* nozzle holder and has a filter and little venturi-effect piece that go inside it before you tighten it into the holder. ![]() I had to mount the pump in the trunk because there was insufficient room in the engine bay but it'll probably be for the best. Without all the heat and conditions it will probably last a bit longer. Also I'll know if it stops working. ![]() and a couple of buddies helping me out ![]() The dyno day is on the 10th so I plan on finding out how much power this kit makes then. My butt dyno tells me the gains are very tangible though. |

| lol, I run 15psi daily and will be running 20psi on the dyno. Hoping for 400+whp. I got 376whp/370tq last time I dyno'd in the summer when it was 104* out.
