I have had an AquaMist system ever since I had the Procharger installed...5-6 years... it was never originally intended to do what I eventually wanted it to do... I went from a 50 / 50 mix to straight and from a small single "jet" to the largest one they offer... that one still doesn't spray anything like the nozzles that most guys run... so since I already had a huge tank and the AquaMist pump is a very high end piece, I started thinking about converting my AquaMist to larger tubing and dual, much larger nozzles from another company... some of the injection companies don't offer parts for sale... after searching the ones that do, I decided to go with Devil's Own their quality is top notch and their customer service is as well...thanks Chance! everything I needed was in stock and I received it 2 days after I placed the order :D the only item I needed that I had to look elsewhere for was an adapter to fit the BSPP threads on the pump's outlet... The current pump may not support the nozzles I now have, so I may be going with one of their pumps later as well ![]() ![]() Last edited by superado; 07-19-2008 at 09:17 PM. |

Looking good, The Aquamist pump is really not for large dual nozzle set ups. As most cars in the UK are of small displacement. And the seals are not rated for 100% methanol so not a good ideal to run that through that pump. Set up looks good, How's the change in performance? |

thanks! the pump has held up now for almost two years w/ straight methanol although its not supposed to...3-4 years prior to that w/ 50 / 50 alcohol / water... I think the most I've got anyone to admit that they have flowed with this pump is 9.6gph and that was using a priming pump...which I do not have set-up... I now have dual 10gph DOAI nozzles...I'm sure that a new pump is in my near future...for flow rate if for no other reason... as far as performance goes...w/ my new motor, I am going lean @ WOT...I am installing an MSD fp voltage booster today to spin the Walbro 255lph a bit faster...hoping that will solve the fueling issues...if not, I'll be adding an additional pump next...so...until that issue is resolved, I won't be able to reap the full benefits of the larger tubing and nozzles... I just hope that when I get the fuel I need to the rails that I don't find out that I need to step up to larger injectors as well...of course that would mean that I was making alot more hp than originally expected...so that's a good thing...
