seems the files are a wee bit big. here is a couple more pics. and that 5 gallon marine tank was a perfect fit. lotsa water and no need to tap a fitting for it. i was also able to unscrew the fitting that plugs into the outboard and simply screwed in the adapter that came with the the injection kit. makes for no leaks. tank is vented. all is good. Looking good, Now all you have to do is get it dialed in the way you want. How's methanol or Denatured access in your neck of the woods. I'm sure they have plenty of winter blend washer fluid up there.

I have seen window washer good up to -40 celcius. but from what i have read on some of the labels it contains ethylene-glycol which would be anti-freeze. i assume it's not good to run that. also heard shake the bottle and if it soaps up it's not good either. even the summer blend of window washer that says contains methanol seems to soap up when shaken. methanol shouldn't be to much of a problem to find. just gotta figure out where to look. Any windshield washer fluid that is not for more than -20 degrees and does not say extra cleaning/ anti-freeze,anti-fog, It will also say on the lable if it has glycol in it. Also if it's green, yellow, red don't use it because it has glycol in it. Walmart -20 and Ace hardware are good brands as well as the stuff sold at most autoparts store, Pretty much the rule of thumb is the cheapest blue stuff you can find tend to be the best because it's just water/methanol with dye which makes up around .0001 percent of the mix. And effects nothing. |
