Kelly of Speedware Motorsports has started on project on my 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege.


First thing we did was pull out rear seat to get an idea of how we wanted the pump and reservoir to fit.

Once we had a idea, we made our marks and drilled holes for threaded inserts.


All inserts are in!

With the inserts in place, punctures were made threw the fabric, and the pump was mounted. All done with stainless steel hex head screws.


Then the 1 gallon bottle with float switch was secured in the same fashion. After that seat was ready to be put back into the car.

Everything is looking very clean so far.


We opted to put the pump and reservoir out of the engine bay in order keep conserve room and be discreet.
