tbh mate - it would be a lotta work to get at it now - The wires of the connector are clearly marked from left to right 1,2,3,4 - when you have the connector latch facing you.

I believe that you can order the connector complete with crimp-on pins from any VAG dealer.

I made this bracket. It is made out of an aluminum stop sign. It mounts to the brackets, which hold the plastic engine cover. I did not want to mount the pump in the fender area.

I made a cardboard template, cut the aluminum with a jig saw. Drilled some holes and installed.
