Hi i have a 1997 GTP.... I recently became interested in the concept of trying water/meth and what not..... I have many friends using it with success on many different types of cars and i would like to give it a try.... So i was wondering if you had any more good reading or informantion you could share with me...... I noticed you also use it on your grand prix.... My thing, i am not really using it to say be able to run a smaller pulley or what not.... I would rather run more timing.... My concept is that it is easier for the pcm to pull timing on a failure then it is to get the boost out of the cyclinders..... Currently i have SLP headers, 1.9 roller rockers, custom pcm, fwi, ect ect... Running a 3.4 pulley..... I plan on doing a P&P blower and a ZZP stage 1 tb very soon... Then water meth... I am currently running 17* of timing and would like to be able to say run about 20* of timing with the water/meth...... I am not looking to be greedy, i ran 14.0@102 on the setup WITHOUT the rockers and ON a 3.5" pulley.... I feel i should be able to run about a 13.7@104 with the setup how it is now..... If i could get low 13's at 106-107ish with all the added mods and alcohol i would be happy..
I know this is a long message and probably boring lol, but any info would greatly be appriciated.
