Well from personal experience on my ford explore which gets about 15 miles to the gallon with the off road tires and still feels a bit sluggish with the 4.0 liter engine has had a noticeable improvement in performance and gets around 3mpg more. And I'm just useing 1GPH nozzle, The intake temps are way down, Even with just the D01 nozzle the intake is ice cold. You really get the power from the lower temps which give you more timing. I spoofed the IAT sensor with a 4.7k ohm resistor so I get my full timing all the time and don't have to worry about detonation. The vehicle has a noticeable gain in horse power I would say around 10 to 15 from the but dyno because as soon as the green light comes on the controller which is hooked to the MAF sensor. (you can use your MAP sensor) the truck starts to haul butt. And having the 100 plus octane on tap seems to be making a big difference in how the vehicle drives. There is no magic number I can give you for your gains you would get from mpg to hp because that would be pure speculation and dishonest. But N/A vehicles tend to pick up around 10% more power. But the efficiency they get from the kit tends to be were the gains are. I would recommend out Universal Stage 2 kit with the voltage faced controller and use the DO5 nozzle. I only use around 20% alcohol in my kit and it seems to be alot more responsive than with the 40% but that's just my unit. I have a 5 gallon tank in the trunk, So far 2 months and the thing is still half full but of course I live in Guam so not to much driving. Another reason I see the big gain is do to the hot and humid climate is counter acted by the kit. |
