Alcohol Injection benefits for N/A Petrol Engines

Hello sir,

I've been reading up your threads in tsikot. Mostly the benefits for TDIc engines. I was wondering the benefits for N/A Petrol engines, according to what I've read, HP gains won't be much (4HP gain in the SR20 at 7000rpm according to speedlab). I was wondering about the engine-cleaning capabilities and a clean burning engine which I guess would be the main reason why am considering this product. I have a Nissan Xtrail here, it has a QR20 engine, engine layout is same as Sentra's QR25. What kit would you suggest I buy? Thanks in advance.

You would need one of our Universal stage 2 kits, That nozzle used on the sentra was a bit large, and before we had the D0.75gph nozzles which would have worked better on that vehicle.

HP gains depend on the engine size, and stock HP, In the heat from the Philippines you will notice the car performs better. Since I live in Guam which has almost exactly the same temps as Manila year around let me tell you it makes a notable difference. I have it on two of my N/A gas engine vehicles. My ford explorer and Nissan Altima both are close to the 200hp mark.

You will see around a 70% to 90% reduction in Hydrocarbon emissions when the kit is on. Plus it will keep the internals clear of carbon build up, The kit pays for itself in reduced maintenance cost.

dvldoc: which of these would fit in my car? Progressive alcohol water methanol injection DevilsOwn Injection

Already have the Intake and Exhaust mods, Am planning on installing unichip, my question is if you advance the timing with the alchohol injection off or if you run out of water/meth, would the engine knock?

You would need the Stage 2 universal kit with the voltage controller and run it off your MAF sensor of your vehicle. You will also need to do a special request in the comments section for nozzle size. The D01 nozzle will handle both of the engine sizes, with adjustments to the controller and pump. But I would request also the D075 nozzle as well. It does not take much to get a good drop in intake temps and add some octane. I use D01 on the wifes 2.5L 175hp Altima and it makes a nice difference.

2.0 L 140 bhp I4
2.5L 165 hp I4

I will actually be back to the Philippines in less than a week and then again at the begining of March, I'll have to check to see what events are going on.

I'll try to post up some pics of the Altima install. You can't really see much just the pump, hose and nozzle holder on the install.
