i drive a miata on IRTB conversion. im planning on shaving the head or getting high CR pistons for extra power. so how do you install the injector for IRTB's since from what i understand, water injection is done inside the intake manifold connecting all 4 runners. but how do you spray water/meth in 4 separate runners? |

If this is your set up you can tap right after the raised nubs on each runner which are about half way between the intake and the throttle bodies. ![]() You will have to run a 4 nozzle set up and tap all 4 runners, You drill each runner and tap with 1/8npt threads and screw in the nozzles. This is the type of set up you would run. |

hi sorry i just got back to this thread, my budget for water injection has been set back. so correct me if im wrong but is it gonna work like bank fuel injection where in all 4 nozzle sprays mist on all 4 runners regardless of what stroke the cylinder is in. wont it flood the runners with droplets of water when it sprays mist on a closed intake valve? really confused here, any help would be appreciated.
