Nozzle size Honda CR-V

Hello I want to ask what is the right nozzle size for a 2.0 liter Honda CR-V 130 hp NA. My goal is to achieve some fuel economy with the kit. The octane rating available here is 95 (I'm in Europe). Probably I want to use your voltage based controller and get the 0-5V values from a Cooling Mist Smart Injection Controller. The input to Smart controller will be the RPM window reading (from 1800 rpm - to 7000 rpm) The engine redline is at 7600 rpm and the ECU drops the fuel there. With the smart controller there is posibility to mix and interpolate two sensor readings and the options are various - RPM TPM MAP MAF so I can use combined value from RPM + TPM or something other. Which combination will be the best suitable for this NA setup?

1gph is all you will need, I think your also over complicated your system, 2D and 3D mapping is a little more useful for forced induction motors who are trying to achieve the leanest safest AF ratio. But the difference in flow you will get in normal driving or racing can hardly be measured on the track, streets or a dyno. You talking fractions of a ml per minute here people don't tend to look at it in real terms when they are using multiple inputs.

The best set up for NA engine is off the Mass airflow sensor if it outputs in voltage which Honda does.

So you say the MAF sensor is best source but I think the car does not have one. Is ptoblem combining RPM and TPS info or using RPM only?

Pretty much ever computer controlled vehicle has one, And the CRV does. It will be located just after your air filter (Hidden in the airbox) or mounted inline with the intake after the air filter but before the throttle body.

I checked and for sure the car doesn't have MAF sensor - they are introduced in '07 and newer CR-Vs. Anyway - it seems better to put such a sensor after the air filter when I receive my CAI I ordered. What brand/type MAF is prefered? Any suggestions?

You can use any surplus honda sensor, Or you can use the MAP sensor which is the second best source. Map sensors reas 30in to 0in of vacuum translated to 0 to 5v OR 4.5 Volts. But if you already have the other controller there is really no reason to get a second because you could use whatever inputs you wanted.

To be honest I would forget about the Honda CRV unless you feel like spending all your money on gas. Have you thought about the hybrid?

Re: Nozzle size Honda CR-V

I want to play with the injection in the CRV just to be ready for a future moment of installing a Garrett turbo there. What "hybrid" exactly?
