Who know anyhting about how to put on of these kits onto a motor that is not turbo or super charged in order to stop detonation at certain throatle or MAP / MAF temperatures. I really would like to try this especially in todays world of half ass low octane fuel that cost $3.39 a gallon with a vehicle that requires at least 93 octane. Please advise ASAP Thanks |

We have many customers that use this on non forced induction application just for that very reason. For example LS1 motors with raised compression who don' t want to run race gase all the time and get knock with the new compression ratio. Our Progressive Controller will work off of any TPS sensor or non GM MAF sensor you can also use a standard MAP sensor the tables on the face plate will not be used. You will use the activation lights to see where to set your setting. Of course if you have the 5v reference scale to the sensor you want to use then it's just a simple conversion over to 3 bar voltage. Even running -20 washer fluid will give you a octane over 100. The walmart brand is 40% methanol. The almost 150 degree intake temps drop helps out alot as well. Hope that helps |

| http://www.devilsownonline.com/unive...-kit-p-12.html The above is the progressive kit which will work off of your MAF sensor (not GM) MAP or TPS sensor. You don't need much so a M3 nozzle will be what you would select. Or you can get the non progressive kit and request a Vacuum switch by using the contact inquiry on the store front page. We don't normally carry them but we can get you one for around $15 over the price of a regular base kit. The switch is adjustible from 30in of vac to 1.5in of vac |

You would just need to get a GM 1 bar map sensor to make it work, they are dirt cheap on ebay, we only carry 2bar and 3bar. But we do have the map sensor connectors in case you need one. The controller has a 5v output wire so it can power and read the MAP sensor independent of the vehicle. All you need to do is hook up a vacuum line to it. I would run 100% to 75% methanol in it. Our new nozzles make it easy to tap a carb spacer to mount them or a intake manifold. | |
