This may be a stupid question, but is the calculator based upon the assumption of a particular mixture? I'd imagine, for example, that different flow rates would be appropriate depending upon whether the user is injecting 100% water, 20% methanol, 50% methanol, etc. Whether this difference is signifigant (or well understood) may be another matter.

vr6t, as long as it's not bogging i would stick to the larger nozzle since you have no cooler.

The calculator seems a little oversimplified to me. According to the calculator my 32 valve SVT Cobra would need the same flow as a 16 valve Mustang GT. Obvioulsy the Cobra flows more air, needs more fuel and should need a larger nozzle as well.

Just wondering.

You should drive the car and see how it acts. there is no replacement for real world trial and error. This caculator is just a best guess.

Alright I think the calc is a bit off, and it doesnt state what the gph flow is for. It said I needed a 8.4gph nozzle but right now Im running a little over 10gph and in the next few days here moving to a 15gph nozzle injected right before the throttle body.

In the tune I do pull quite a bit of fuel out and my AFRs are right around 12.0:1 timing is around 9 degrees at peak tq and ramps to 27 degrees at the rev limit, with about 1-2 knock counts which is acceptable to the ECU. The meth starts injecting around 16psi and is at full flow at 24psi.

Im wondering if I lower the "on" time to generate more lower end tq but will go through my 1.5gallons in no time.

i think the calc is always gonna be a bit off because there's so many things to take into account, thing is i only run a 3gph injector on my skyline even tho it says 6.33gph, but thats because i have a massive front mount intercooler and dont run the turbo anywhere near its limits so heat isnt much of an issue!

ignition is 18degrees and ramps up to 45 degrees.

plus over in the crappy uk its always cold and raining.
