Every vehicle is different there is no way to say 100% what works best on one vehicle will be the same on anouther. Cars are like people. Try what you have first and see if that meets your needs for power and EGT temp drops. |

For the past few weeks i have been running a D01 Pre-Turbo, and a D03 Post IC... Started with just the 3 after the IC, and while i could tell it was there, the performance was dissapointing... Now, after i setup the D01 Pre-Turbo, it changes everything, and you can really tell it's there... Car pulls harder now, and i feel we are getting somewhere... However, could i try a D04 Post IC without any problems? Now for the problem... If I'm cruising at say 45mph, and lightly touching the accelerator, the Turbo will be spinning, but not very fast, and the MAP is around 10psi (According to the boost gauge) but when the alcohol kicks in (Even slightly) the car judders and smokes, as though it's choking the turbo... If i floor it, it DOES Clear after a few seconds, but it's VERY worrying when going down the Motorway @ 70mph in 6th gear, and all of a sudden the car starts smoking, loosing power in juddering all over... What is the cause of this, and how can i rectify it? |

Sounds like you need to raise your start point for injection, 1.9 TDI VW are running 1gph pre and 5gph post turbo nozzles with no issues. You might also want to change your mix. You could be giving it to much fuel. Try reducing it to 20% alcohol and raising your start point a few psi. If you have a Progressive Controller you can use the controller to turn down the pressure, Just raise the full point higher.
