So I got my kit in the mail, but there is alot going on in the next few weeks, so the install is delayed until I get back from the states with some more parts. But I just finished installing speakers in a friend's car, and wanted to mod mine while the sun was out. I have an M5,4 and 3 from the kit i bought, and an outside M1. Remembering what Dvldoc said a while ago, I decided to use the M5. I picked up a 1/8 NPT to 1/8 hose bard connector, and a bag of M10 washers. Out to the car with a pair of scissors and a mini torch (drill battery was dead, as usual.) Cut the WWF line on the hood, popped in a T, and ran 6 inches of hose to the nozzle. Put the nozzle on the cowl between the wipers, and turned on the spray. Got a good mist all over the windshield. much better than the sprayers I have now. the spray seemed to travel more out than it did to the side. Maybe I should replace the sprayers I have with a nozzle. On to installation... One side of the IC vent was flat, and the other side had a weird curve to it. I decided on the middle of the flat side, due to the nozzle spraying more forward than sideways. Melted a hole, opened it up so that the nozzle barely got in. One washer on each side of the plactic vent, and screwed it in. Seems to work, meaning it sprays the IC. I don't have a thermometer hooked up, and I haven't driven the car much lately ($7 gas). When I get out during the day I will test it out. Also try to get a thermometer on it and see if there is a difference. If anyone wants pics, I will be taking them soon. It's gonna be 28 today, so there should be a good amount of heat being let into the TMIH. After some more playing, I may hook it up to the rear WWF pump hose, since I don't really use it much, comparably. Last edited by Dust; 07-20-2008 at 10:47 PM. |

Yeah, still got to get a idea on the screws. I think the map sensor I have is 2-bar, at least that's what I get from the Turbobuicks.com board. Going to Hokkaido this week, so it may take some time to get the kit installed.
