| 2007 Mustang GT, Whipple/Ford intercooled kit, otherwise stock. Looking to get the power back (60-80 hp) that is pulled when car warms up to normal temperature. Does anyone have experience with this set up? Thanks, Chuck Mustang, OK. |

| Hey your only about 30 miles from the shop, We have done just about every supercharged car there is. Whipples are no different, The problem is that the vehicle is pulling timing do the heat made by the supercharger, and if you have excess heat you have detonation which pulls timing. You should not loose 80hp from that though. Whipples spool pretty quick so either system works well on them especially to keep things cool, If you have room under the blower you can install a nozzle directly into the intake. If not you will go before the blower which is what most people do. Most V8 whipple set ups run a DO12 nozzle to a DO14 depending on how much boost they are running. |
