Default Injection on/off no real difference

Ok.. guys I'm just starting out so surely I'll need to do a bunch more tuning. I installed (a new GM MAF since my last one crapped out) and the 7M nozzle now... I took the car for a spin setting the W/I to come on at about 16PSI and full at about 25PSI. I see with or without W/I the car behaves about the same and I get knowck at about 20 PSI whether I run W/I or not... I'm running blue windhsield wahser fluid -40C stuff with a half a liter of pure methanol mixed in with the 4L windsield washer container... I have read other DSM guys being to rn easily 25PSI and some even 30PSI on 91octane gas with W/I.... I run 94 octane gas right now and can't get over 20 PSI with or without W/I.

Any ideas? PS. The pump light comes on properly so I'm quite sure the system was installed properly and working properly...

Odd. That's a larger nozzle, it's injecting plenty. Did you see any reduction in knock?

Maybe try the "start" a bit lower with the "full" a bit lower as well. Get some more injection at the 20psi knock occurance.

How much timing are you running?

I'm running 25psi on pump with no knock. I'm also running 50/50 mix of denatured alcohol and H2O.

My knock went away right after I installed the DevilsOwn system.

I did noticed with the hot temps today 90+ degrees it was showing some knock. In the cooler temps it works perfect.

I got a 9:1 Compression 2.4 4G64 Swap... Ross pistons, eagle rods. I notice that when I had the M12 nozzle the car would miss a whole bunch. With the 7M nozle its not bad at all.. I really do not feel any missing but 20 PSI seems to be about all I can muster, with or without W/I/. I'm injecting about 50/50 water/meth... At 20 PSI I flow over 40lb/min of air with the SCM61.. I think I got lots of tuning ahead of me. I was hoping I could run about 25+ PSI.. on pump.

I do have a wideband but I was unable to log due to compuer troubles.. This week it will be fixed. I'm pretty sure its spraying because all the LEDs turn on and as well when I had the M12 Nozzle on, I could feel the car miss real bad when the W/I started spraying...with the controller turne off the miss was not there...

Yeah , Wideband data is essenticial, perhaps I will have to go the the larger nozzle the M12 and just lean the hell ouf of my fuel.... this might solve the missing and give me what I'm looking for on boost....

set the boost low. make sure your tune is setup not to go lean without the alcohol..

Use the alcohol to control knock and supress detnation, not as a secondary fuel soruce..

Do you mean.set the boost for the spray low? Start and full?

Otherwise setting the actual boost low is kind of the opposite of what I'm trying to do with the W/I....

im just sayimg make sure you tune and a/f is in check before you start running higher boost levels and playing with the alcohol.
