Ive read a recent thread on this and I just didn't have a clue. But, what I'm trying to do is tap into an alarm LED so when the pump turns on, the LED sharing with the alarm will let me know when the pump is working. Can this be done? if so can you please explain how to so this. I tried tapping the main power wire from the pump to one of the alarm LED wire and the LED is just constantly on. thank you |

Yes, it can be done. You will need a 220 ohm resiter, and 2 blocking diodes. All can be bought at radio shack. Just wire the diode and rester inline with the leg from the alcohol kit. Then cut the orginal wire to the led and put the last diode there. This will keep the 2 power sources from feeding back.
